What is DealStocks?

DealStocks is a community-driven platform where users discover, share, and rate the best deals from popular retailers like Amazon, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and more. Our community helps you find incredible savings on products you love.

How do I create an account?

Creating an account is free and easy! Click the "Sign Up" button in the top navigation, fill out the registration form with your username, email, and password, then check your email to activate your account.

Do I need an account to browse deals?

No! You can browse and discover deals without an account. However, creating an account allows you to post deals, rate and comment on posts, and access your personal dashboard.

Posting Deals

How do I post a deal?

Once logged in, click the "+" button in the navigation bar or go to the "Create" page. Fill out the deal details including the product title, sale price, original price, description, and product URL. Add an image and select the appropriate category.

What information do I need to include?

For each deal post, you'll need:

  • Product Title: Clear, descriptive name of the product
  • Sale Price: Current discounted price
  • Original Price: Regular retail price (for comparison)
  • Description: Details about the deal, product features, or why it's a good buy
  • Product URL: Direct link to the product page
  • Image: Product photo (will be automatically optimized)
  • Category: Choose the most relevant category

What stores are supported?

We support deals from major retailers including Amazon, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowe's, Newegg, Etsy, Wayfair, and many more. If you find a great deal from a supported store, feel free to share it!

Can I edit or delete my posts?

Yes! You can edit your posts by clicking the "Edit" button on any of your published deals. You can also archive posts if you no longer want them to appear in the main feed.

Discovering Deals

How do I find deals I'm interested in?

Use our powerful search and filtering options:

  • Search Bar: Search by product name, brand, or keywords
  • Categories: Browse by product categories like Electronics, Home & Garden, Fashion, etc.
  • Sorting: Sort by newest, highest rated, or most popular deals
  • Filters: Filter by price range, store, or deal type

How does the rating system work?

Users can rate deals on a scale of 1-5 stars based on:

  • Deal quality and value
  • Product accuracy and description
  • Overall usefulness
Higher-rated deals appear more prominently in search results and category listings.

Can I comment on deals?

Absolutely! Comments are a great way to share additional information, ask questions, or provide updates about deals. Be respectful and helpful in your comments.

What is my dashboard?

Your dashboard shows your personal activity including:

How do I customize my profile?

Visit your profile page to:

What are "Top DealStockers"?

Top DealStockers are users who consistently share high-quality deals and receive positive ratings from the community. They're recognized for their valuable contributions to helping others save money.

Earnings & Payments

How do I earn money from my deal posts?

When users click on your deal links and make purchases, you earn a commission from the retailer's affiliate program. We track all clicks and conversions from your posts and pay you a percentage of the commission we receive.

When will I receive my payments?

Payment Timeline: Payments typically arrive 60-90 days after a purchase is made through your affiliate links. This delay is standard across all affiliate programs and is outside of our control.

New Accounts: If you're a new user, there may be an additional 30-90 day hold period for your first payment while we verify your account and payment information.

Minimum Threshold: You must reach a minimum earnings threshold of $25-$100 (varies by advertiser) before payments are processed.

How does the revenue window work?

We use a revenue window approach to account for affiliate payment delays. Even after your post is archived, we continue tracking revenue for 30-90 days to ensure you receive credit for all purchases made through your links. This means you'll still earn money from clicks that happened before your post was archived.

How will I know when my payment is ready?

We'll keep you updated throughout the payment process:

  • Status Updates: "Payment received, processing payout"
  • Delay Notifications: "Payment delayed, expected in X days"
  • Payment Confirmation: "Payment sent successfully"
You can also check your earnings dashboard for real-time payment status updates.

What payment methods do you support?

We support multiple payment methods including PayPal, direct bank transfer, and other secure payment options. You can choose your preferred payment method in your account settings.

Why are there delays in affiliate payments?

Affiliate programs have built-in delays to:

  • Process returns and refunds
  • Verify legitimate purchases
  • Prevent fraud and abuse
  • Handle their own accounting cycles
These delays are standard across the industry and are not within our control. We work to process your payments as quickly as possible once we receive them from the affiliate programs.
